Sultana is a Registered Massage Therapist and former national team athlete. She retired in 2018 after a long history in Athletics, she represented Canada at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics in the Hammer Throw. After her retirement, she has been dedicated to honing her skill set in therapeutic massage to help clients achieve their bodies potential. Sultana went to the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (2200hrs Toronto Campus) where she split her clinic rotations between physical rehab hospitals and sports massage. Sultana is experienced in giving a clinical approach to treatment – her background in high performance has been essential to assist clients with their goals and prioritizing approaches to be able to provide a holistic treatment. Sultana is coming to Halifax after working at a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Ontario that specialized in post-operative care, neuro, and soft tissue dysfunction.

Anette Goodwin is a Registered Massage Therapist, who has been practicing in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the pst 20 years. She takes great pride in being able to help people through their physical and mental stresses in their lives by her massage treatments. She tries to create a therapeutic yet relaxing environment, where her patients can step away from their lives for an hour and truly relax.

She graduated with honours from ICT Northumberland in 2005 and has worked in several clinics as well as a women’s fitness facility. She has also taken time to work out her home in Bedford, to take care of her young son.

Her passion for women’s health has been a part throughout her career, and she trained and worked as a birth doula for 10 years, as well has taken training in pregnancy and postpartum massage. Her career has taken her to gain greater understanding of chronic neuromuscular pain and how it affects her patients’ everyday lives. She strives to help alleviate discomfort with her treatments and support her patients through the healing process, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle.

She has been living in West Bedford for over 10 years with her husband Devan and son Jenson, and has seen this community grow to be the busy area it is today. She is excited to be able to continue to work close to her home and provide massage treatments in her community . When not working, she calls herself a full time mom, but also loves to paint, hiking and visiting beaches with her family.

Laurel Harris is an acupuncturist from Corner Brook, Newfoundland. After years of exploring yoga, meditation, and healing, she returned to school to study Acupuncture at Georgian College in Barrie, ON. There, she learned acupuncture and other modalities (cupping, tui na massage, gua sha, moxibustion, and qigong) and saw a variety of patients at the student clinic, some with complex health issues.

She aims to bring harmony in how she lives and works, how she relates to those around her and to the natural world. She values integrity, curiosity, and care, and aims to provide a calm and safe space conducive to healing. Originally from Venezuela, Yolanda attended the University College of Rehabilitation May Hamilton obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with honours “Summa Cum Laude” in 2000. She practiced in a variety of settings including hospitals, private practice and sports events before obtaining her Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree in 2012 from Dalhousie University, where she was the recipient of the Dalhousie University Graduate Studies Scholarship Award.

She has been working in private practice since her graduation in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions in clients of all ages. As an experienced physiotherapist, Yolanda provides an excellent patient-centered care, with a perfect balance between hands-on approach, exercise prescription and appropriate modalities. She actively involves her patients into their own care and empowers them with the necessary tools to reach their goals and maintain their health.

Yolanda is a Certified Bone Fit Trained clinician by Osteoporosis Canada,, and FMT Advanced Blades Certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization by Rocktape Canada. She has also completed her training on McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Technique Part A-D: Advanced Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar Spine & Upper and Lower Extremities by The Robin McKenzie Institute of Canada. Yolanda has advance training in concussion treatment by Complete Concussion Management Healthcare Practitioner and R2P Advanced Concussion Management.

Yolanda has completed other numerous post-graduate courses including; Mulligan Concept Upper and Lower Extremities, Advanced Physical Therapy Upper Extremity, Anatomical Acupuncture Level 2, Dry Needling, Cupping Therapy, Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level I and Shoulder and Knee Post-surgical Rehabilitation.

Holly (She/Her) is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for improving her patients daily lives and activities. She has always been interested in the human body, ever since she had her first Massage when she was in her early 20s. It only took the one treatment for her to fall in love with the benefits of Massage Therapy.

She graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2009 and has worked in multidisciplinary clinics ever since, which has given her the opportunity to learn and grow from many talented practitioners, including Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and so many more. Combined with providing thousands of treatments over the past many years, she has gained a wealth of experience as a Massage Therapist. She is an attentive and open therapist who listens to all her clients needs.

When Holly is not working or helping to run the daily operations of InMotion, she can be found with her husband Tim and her playful, outgoing and “too clever for her own good” daughter, Lucy. Holly loves camping with her family and heading to the ocean to enjoy the salty air and some sun, or relaxing at home listening to podcasts or some good tunes, with a few dances around the kitchen of course.
